So things are starting to pick up around here.
AJ started school last week, and I started work. And now tomorrow I start school. I made the mistake of telling AJ that I would do his environmental science paper for a couple of shirts from Abercrombie. Well, this paper is proving to be a bitch. =[ I have to finish it by next Sunday.. wish me luck!
I've noticed lately that I have become the "go to" girlfriend. Both Omar, and Brock's girlfriends are wanting to hang out with me, which is kinda cool. I like Amamda, I've only hung out with her a couple of times, but the last time (on Thanksgiving) we got along really well. I just think it's funny/odd that I've become that girl. It's actually pretty flattering to be honest.
I really don't think I'd be able to handle Colorado without Alyssa these days. Nate and Alyssa don't mind coming over to our house to hang out, which makes things a ton easier because of Jayden.
Work was good. I really enjoy being able to socialize and make my own money, but I'm not sure how long it's going to last because of the babysitter factor. We're paying her $8/hour, and some nights I'm only making that much... So on a Wednesday night, if I go to work at 3:00-8:30 I have to pay her $48... and I'll be lucky if I make $50... I really don't want to not work, but it kind of looks like it's not going to happen. I wish AJ had a set schedule so I could just work those nights and not have to pay a babysitter... oh well. I guess being a SAHM is just something I'll have to do. =[
